This family of Albion Dodge, would have descended from John Dodge, the father of William and Richard who came to America in 1629 and 1638, and most likely descended from John's son, Michael. Albion was the son of William Dodge, Bootmaker, of East Coker, and his wife, Catherine Arnold. Catherine was b. Yeminster, and died aged 88. William died aged 86. Albion and his family lived in Fareham, and this photo was taken at the studio of J. T. See in Fareham.

Hubert Dodge, son of William Dodge and Catherine Arnold and brother of Albion, b. 1832 at East Coker. He was a cabinet maker. He m. Charlotte Pound of Blackheath.In this photo, This portrait must have been done in the late 1850s. He is not very old.
Edith Elloway, first wife of Albert Charles Dodge who was b. 6-8-1878, in Westbury d. 6-4-1920 age 38. Albert Charles was a son of Hubert Dodge Three Dodge Daughters from Frome. Daughters of August Dodge and Mary Gould French Charlotte Louisa 'Lottie' Dodge, b. 2-1-1858, d. 29-11-1929, unmarried. She is buried at Christchurch, Warminster. Charlotte was a child of Hubert Dodge and the gradndaughter of WIlliam and Catherine.
Ernest Thomas Dodge, son of Hubert Dodge and Charlotte Pound. He was b. 7-1-1870 in upper Sydrnham. He m. Eva Sabina Barter and he d. 2-5-1943. Eva d. 12-6-1962 and they are buried at Christchurch, Warminster Another view of Ernest Thomas Dodge when heis somewhat older. Augustus (Gus) Edwin Dodge, b. 1864, and his wife, Annie Russell. Augustus was the son of Hubert Dodge and Charlotte Pound. Augustus William Dodge, b. Jan. 10, 1867, and d. June 17, 1918. He is buried in Sherborne. He was the son of Augustus Dodge andwho was born in 1823 in East Coker, who was the son of William Dodge and Catherine ARNOLD Dodge..
Lily Caroline DODGE Ede, born October 5, 1883 and died July 1974 The names of these three people are a mystery. The man in the 2nd picture has the same shaped face as the Dodge sisters from Frome, pictured further up on this page. Can you identify them?
