Buried here is the family of Ireneus Bruce Dodge, a long standing mystery Dodge. In late 2002, we were able to go back two more generations... to the grandparents of Ireneus; John Dodge and Ruth Ruddock. DNA testing of a descendent proved that this family descended from Richard Dodge of Beverly, Massachusetts. The DNA result caused a descendent to do a concentrated search for the ancestor of Peter Ingerfield Dodge's (uncle to Ireneus.) father, John Dodge who married Ruth Ruddock. The results of that search have given us the paper trail back to Richard.
