As far as we know, Canadian Dodges are descendants of Dodges that came from the U.S. We know of two specific reasons for their emigration to Canada, and there are probably other reasons also.
- Dodges who were Loyalists during our Revolutionary War.
- When the French Arcadians were removed from Canada to the area of our country that
is now, Louisiana, their lands were given to people of English descent.
