Dodge Cemetery, Hampton Falls, New Hampshire
Photography by Bob Purple who writes: This cemetery is not very large - about 230 people total. It is organized well with short cement walls around most of the plots. For some reason there are very few Dodge family members in it - only 3 plots have been found, which makes me wonder why it is called Dodge Cemetery. I currently don?t know that much about the overall history of the cemetery itself except that it abuts the Baptist Church property. The graves practically go right up to the church walls.

The Dodge families buried here descended from Nathaniel Hubbard Dodge and his wife, Sarah H. 'Sally' Dodge who was the daughter of Richard Dodge and Mary Thorn.

Nathaniel and Sarah are buried in Old Town Cemetery, Hampton Falls.

2. Dodge Cemetery sign - the sign in front of the cemetery. The Stephen and Mary Dodge monument can be seen in the background (dark red). To the right is the grey monument for George H Dodge, his wife Mary K Dodge, 2 of their children, and his parents : Deacon Dudley Dodge, and Betsey (Fifield) Dodge, who are the oldest Dodge family members buried here. George and Stephen have different fathers.
