Small family cemeteries around the country that need help |
If you know of a small family cemetery and
would like to send us information and photos,
we will list it here. If YOU live in the
area of any of these cemeteries, I know that
any help at all that you can offer will be
most welcome . . . and you may even make
some new friends in the process. Probably the FIRST and OLDEST Cemetery on
Islesborough, Maine...members of the family of Simon Dodge and
Prudence Rose
Cemetery of Israel Dodge and Sally White, Potter County, Pennsylvania - this is on the Matthews farm. The Matthews would like to put a marker on the graves of Israel, Sally, and an infant. Read the information on this family and their ancestry. Cemetery in Jericho, Long Island, New York - this is a family cemetery in the Tristram line. It is maintained solely by John Everett Dodge of Greenlawn, New York. Lawrence Cemetery, Lawrence, New York - This page is updated peridoically with an updated newsletter from The Lawrence Cemetery Restoration Project. This cemetery contains several Dodge Stones. They are undobtedly in the Tristram line. We have not tied them in yet. The Lawrence Cemetery Restoration Project has recently been formed in order that this cemetery might be preserved from further ruin. Edgecomb, Maine - There is a small cemetery near the farm of M. Pitkin, Spring Hill Farm Road. These pictures were given to us by Sandy Tibbets who lives in Maine. During the Christmas season, the Ms. Pitkin puts holly on the grave of Emma, daughter of Josiah M. and Arlitta Dodge, who died on Christmas Day at the age of two years and a half years. |
