Elisha Potter Dodge and his wife, Olive Tunniclif
Elisha descends from Tristram Dodge


Elisha was born May 10, 1800 in New Shoreham, Block Island, Rhode Island and he died February 12, 1864, at Cape Vincent, Jefferson County, New York. He is buried in Judd Cemetery in that town.

He was one of four children of Thomas Dodge and Willabe King. He married Olive Tunnicliff September 9, 1823 at Cape Vincent.

Elisha and Olive had seven children; two boys, Edwin Tunnicliff Dodge and Lorenzo Elisha Dodge, and 5 girls; Mary A., Eliza Rathbun, Adelaide Dorcas, Flora Rosetta, and Emogene Olive.
