| Elizabeth Dodge was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, April 30, 1871 to Rufus Silas Dodge and Caroline Bartlett Smith Dodge. She had one sister and 3 brothers who lived to marry and have families of their own. She married Aubrey Derby on January 20, 1911, Jersey City, New Jersey and she died March 3, 1943 in Patterson, New Jersey. She was known for her beautiful voice and gave many concerts world wide. She and her husband had two children, Grace Auster Derby and Louise Elizabeth Derby. Grace has been a member of the Dodge Family Association for many years.
