Dodge - Balch Cemetery
Colburn Road, New Boston, New Hampshire
This little cemetery is up on a hill above the road, and easy to miss - look for the white gate. These photos of all the visible named stones were taken May 2003. Large, hi-resolution photos are available, contact: cagenjo@optonline.net

The following family is found in the Balch, Dodge and Dunlap Row
#1. Francis Dodge was born before 17 May 1763, Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts and died 9 Nov 1856, Francestown, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire His parents were Charles Dodge and Abigail Porter Dodge.
        Sarah Dodge was born before 16 Nov 1766, Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts and died 17 Jun 1831, Francestown, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire She was the wife of Francis. Her parents were Asa Dodge and Sarah Trask.
#2. Ezra Dodge was born 9 Aug 1791, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire and died 3 Feb 1853, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. He was the son of Francis and Sarah Dodge. This stone was found on Aug. 14, 1987 buried under decayed leaves and creeping vines
        Rebecca Balch was born 19 Dec 1796, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire and died 22 Sep 1878, AE 81 yrs. 9ms. 3ds, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. She was the daughter of Robert Balch and Sarah Dodge.
#3. Sarah Dodge Balch, the wife of Robert Balch, was born before 5 Jul 1752, Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts and died 16 Mar 1822, AE 69y. 8m. 7d., New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire She was the daughter of Solomon Dodge and Hannah Dodge.
#4.Robert Balch, was born 28 Jul 1743 and died 3 Aug 1830, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire He was the husband of Sarah Dodge, to the left.

The following family is found in the Dodge and Tewksbury Row #1. Nehemiah Dodge born 13 Aug 1753 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts and died 29 Jan 1825, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. He was the son of Robert and Lydia Dodge.
#2. Ruth Woodbury was the wife of Nehemiah Dodge. She was born 12 Jul 1755, Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts and died 18 Aug 1832, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire She was the daughter of Ebenezer Woodbury and Ruth Walron Woodbury. #3. Dimon Dodge was born in New Boston 10 Nov 1778 and died there 19 Jan 1840. He was the son of Nehemiah Dodge and Ruth Woodbury Dodge.
#4. Anne Wilson was born 27 Jan 1791, Pelham, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire and died 29 Aug 1862, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. She was the wife of Dimon Dodge. Her parents were James Wilson and Mary Eaton Wilson.
#5. Lydia Dodge was born 27 Sep 1783, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire and died 4 Jan 1836, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. She was the daughter of Nehemiah Dodge and Ruth Woodbury Dodge.
#1. Rebecca Dodge was born 7 Nov 1785, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire and died 22 Jul 1822, New Boston, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire She was the daughter of Nehemiah Dodge and Ruth Woodbury Dodge.
