MEREAND family stone
Eugene p. Dodge, 1872, 1925, a Tristram Dodge line
Ella J. Mereand, his wife, 1886? - 1984
#1. Alvin Dodge, born 15 Sep 1799, Cato, Cayuga Co., New York and died 6 Jul 1852, Watertown, Jefferson Co., New York. Alvin Dodge was a descendant in the Tristram Dodge line.
#2. Gracy Hill, Former wife of Alvin Dodge., born 21 Jul 1800 and died 28 Mar 1883 It appears from this that Gracy married a surname HILL after Alvin died.
Egbert Dodge, 1810 - 1878 and Lydia, 1813-1894, wife of Egbert.
Two of their children: Johnnie B., 1863 - 1867, and Millie M., 1865 - 1865.
DNA has proved that Egbert was a descendant in the John branch line either thru William or Richard. The brick wall is with Jesse Dodge who married Peggy Waters. Egbert was a son of Jesse and Peggy
#1. This stone looks like it says Charles D., son of John D. and Lucinda Dodge died...stone is broken and death date is missing.J Charles Dwight Dodge, d. 24 Apr 1847.
#2. John Dwight Dodge (married Lucinda Eaton Sikes) born 17 Oct 1817 and died 21 Oct 1844, age 27, and John Eaton Sikes Dodge, died 21 Oct 1869. John Eaton Sikes Dodge was a son of John Dwight Dodge and Lucinda Eaton Sikes. Note: JTD Vol. 1, page 417 states her name is LUCINA NOT LUCINDA. However, if you look again closely at the cemetery stone her name is LUDINA.
These photos are for Harrison Dodge and his wife, Juliet (Richardson) Dodge, both born in 1818. Harrison died in 1890 and Juliet died in 1894. Harrison was a son of John Dodge and Lucretia Howe, and a grandson of Jesse Dodge and Peggy Waters
