grant estate of Richard Dodge (1756 1822)
until it was deeded to the local community
by the Dodge family in 1891.
Richard Dodge's wife's name was Hannah. One
of his sons was Richard and one of Richard's sons was Josiah. An interesting
inscription was on Richard's headstone (1756-1822)
