Ellsworth Dodge - born May 24, 1861 Everett Lincoln Dodge - born December 04, 1864 Loula Dodge - born March 25, 1866 Lillian May Dodge - born May 19, 1867 Flora B. Dodge - born March 19, 1873 In Mahala's will below, Flora is noted as a 'granddaughter" instead of a daughter.
In the name of God, Amen, I Mahala J. Dodge of Boothbay Harbor County of Lincoln and State of Maine being weak in body but of a sound and perfect mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament and herein dispose of all my worldly estate in manner following. to wit: First: I name and direct my executors herein named to pay all my just debts and funeral charges as soon as may be after my decease. Second: I give and bequeath to each of my children and to my granddaughter Flora the sum of one dollar. Third: I give bequeath and devise to my beloved daughter Mary Owen who has tended me with such loving care for many years and cared for me during my sickness all the rest residue and remainder of my estate real personal and mixed wherever found and however situated to her and her heirs and assigns forever. I hereby appoint C. H. Fisher sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and ninety. Mahala J. Dodge (L.S.) Signed sealed published and declared by the said Mahala J. Dodge to be her last will and testament in presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of one another have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto this twelfth day of August in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety.
