Detective Newman Stone described as suicide today the death of Effingham N. Dodge, a graduate of Yale in 1906, who resigned last month as Passaic County Probation Officer after being charged with infraction of rules. Mr. Dodge was found dead last night, Stone said, with his throat and wrists slashed and gas flowing from kitchen stove jets.
