Julian L. Dodge, 83, of Danvers, husband of the late Katherine (McCarthy) Dodge and the late Amy (Lambert) Dodge, died January 13, 2006, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born and raised in Wenham, son of Randolph and Eunice (Lothrop) Dodge, he had lived in Danvers, Georgetown and Bedford. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Dodge had been employed as a real estate salesman on the North Shore for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Dodge was a former member of the Jubilee Yacht Club in Beverly, the Polish, Russian, Lithuanian Citizens Club in Danvers and the Aleppo Temple Shrine. He is survived by a son, Julian Lothrop Dodge of Lynwood, Va.; two daughters, Linda and her husband, Edward Coulson of Danvers and Andrea and her husband, Paul Ackerman of Tillson, N.Y.; three stepdaughters, Eve Vinson of Billerica and Lisa Lambert and Mary Petrino, both of Chelmsford; two granddaughters, Niamh Koch and Katherine Ackerman; a grandson, Devin Miller; and several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held January 17 from Wenham Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Lee, Moody & Russell Funeral Home of Beverly.
