DODGE, SEBERT L., 65, passed away Monday, February 23, 2009. He was an Army veteran who proudly served in Vietnam. He retired from the Hillerich and Bradsby (Louisville Slugger) Company after forty years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Veda Martin Dodge. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Denise Cunningham; grandson, Noah; sister, Sheila Schelling (Lynn Anthony); brother, Gordon Dodge; father, Sebert G. Dodge; two sisters-in-law, Jackie Johnson and Debbie Reischman (David); and nephew, Brian Dodge. There will be a private funeral service 1 p.m. Friday at Arch L Heady Westport Road with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greenville, IN. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be given to the Autism Society of Kentuckiana. Wal-Mart employee dies after clothes rack accident; February 24, Louisville, Kentucky - A Wal-Mart employee died Monday after a clothes rack that was hanging from a warehouse ceiling fell on his head Saturday at the store off Westport Road. Sebert Dodge, 65, died Monday afternoon at University Hospital, Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Jack Arnold said. Dodge had been admitted to University Hospital after the incident occurred between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Arnold said. |
