Dodge home in Ft. Collins, Colorado. This is a photo postcard. The message says: "Taken Dec. 1912. From Mary" To: Mrs. Jim Dodge, Lexington, Nebr" The postmark is from Strang, Nebr., Feb. 20, 1913. From the left: Mabel (MILLER) Dodge(mother), Alice, Eva, Buck. It is believed that Mabel was married to James A. Dodge. If this is so, then the picture at the far left is probably James and Mabel. James must have died, because Mable married again sometime in the 30s. Mable Dodge was the grandmother of Ron. She died of T.B. when his mother was 11 yrs. old. |
