Phillip Ammon Dodge was a grandson of Ireneus. He was the son of John Heinkes Dodge. He married Frankie Mae Kerns, September 30, 1927 in Galesburg, Illinois. As a man, Phillip worked for C.B.&Q railroad starting in 1925 and on the line gang until 1937 at which time he was made a division line man. He held that job from 1938 until 1970 when he retired. |

Phillip Ammon Dodge and his wife, Frankie Mae (Kerns) Dodge, had three children. From the left they are, John Phillip Dodge, Rebecca Mae Dodge, and Marjorie Irene Dodge. Rebecca's married name was WILSON, and Marjorie's married name was GREENE. This picture was taken sometime in the 1940s.
