Lincoln County Courthouse,Wiscasset, Maine,Lincoln County Deeds,Book 147, page 393 Enoch Dodge to Joseph Burnham Deed Know all men by these presents, that I Enoch Dodge of Edgecomb in the County of Lincoln, & State of Maine, Yeoman in consideration of two hundred dollars in hand paid by Joseph Burnham of Edgecomb, in the County & State aforesaid Merchant, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have remised, & forever quit claimed & do for myself, & my heirs, by these presents, remise, release, & forever quit claim unto the said Joseph Burnham his heirs and afsigns forever a certain lot of land Iying & being in Edgecomb & is bounded as follows to wit: Easterly by land of William Fly, Southerly by land of Thomas Cuningham, westerly by land of Daniel Trask or the great brook, Northerly by land of Thomas Cunningham & being the same lot that Malachi Dodge deceased deeded to Enoch Dodge dated March the twenty eight day in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fourteen. To have and to hold the aforementioned premises with all the privileges & appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Joseph Burnham his heirs & afsigns forever. So that neither I the said Enoch Dodge, nor my heirs or any other person or persons claiming from or under me or them, or in the name, right, or stead, of me, or them, shall or will, by any way or means, have claim or demand, any right or title, to the aforesaid premises or their appurtenances or to any part or parcel thereof forever. In witness whereof I the said Enoch Dodge have hereunto Set my hand & seal this eighteenth day of February on the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty nine.
