Warrt: Apprizement Common Wealth of Mafsachusetts Zachr. Dodge's Lincoln Ss. } To Mefsrs: Barbabas Sears, Thomas Ring & Estate West District William Cunningham, all of Edgecombe, in the
Greeting You are hereby appointed and impowered to take an Inventory of land according to your best Skill and Judgement & truly and justly to apprize (in Lawful Money of this CommonWealth) all the Estate whereof Zachariah Dodge Late of said Edgecombe, yeoman died seized in the aforesaid County; and you are to make Return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon; unto the Probate office in the same County, as soon as conveniently may be. Given under my hand this fourth day of March AD 1789 Jon Bowman Judge of Prob. Lincoln Ss. April 20th, 1789 Then the within named Barnabas Sears, Thomas Ring & William Cunningham Were sworn to the faithfull discharge of their Duty as apprizers to the Estate of the within named Zachariah Dodge Before me Moses Davis Just. Peace Examined by Nathl Thwing Regr Pro Tem. _______________ Inventory of the Estate of Zachariah Dodge late Of Edgecombe deceased viz: 154 Acres of Land, & House & Barn standing Apprized by us, Barnabas Sears, Wm Cunningham Thos. Ring, Lincoln Ss } June 25th: 1789 Then Moses Davis Esqr., West District } Executor of the last Will and Testament of the said Zachariah Dodge therein named, made Oath that this Inventory contains all the Estate of the deceased that he knows of at Present & that if at any time here after he shall know of more he will render an account thereof into the Probate Office for the said West District.
