Land Records Lincoln County, Maine; Book 102, Pages 72 Family History Library Film #11409 Know all men by these presents that we Daniel Dodge and Judith Dodge, wife of the said Daniel of Edgecomb in the County of Lincoln, yeoman, in consideration of one hundred and five Dollars to me paid by William Davidson of Edgecomb aforesaid, yeoman, the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, have granted, revised, released and forever quit claimed, and do for ourselves and our heirs by these presents grant, remise, release and forever quit claim unto the said Davidson his heirs and assigns forever, all the right, title, interest and claim which we we now have or ever had in and to all the real and Personal estate which was bequeathed to us by the will of our late honored father Zachariah Dodge of said Edgecomb deceased, the same being two shares and one third of a share of said estate, however and whenever the same may be found and situated, the above real estate being our part of the homestead farm of the said Zachariah Dodge situate in Edgecomb aforesaid. To have and to hold the aforementioned premises, with all the privileges and appurtenances, thereto belonging, to him the said Davidson his heirs and assigns forever. So that neither we the said Dodge and wife nor hour heirs, or any other person or persons claiming from or under us or them, or in the name, right or stea? of us or them shall or will, by any way or means, have, claim or demand, any right to or title to the aforesaid or their appurtenances premises or to any part or parcel thereof. In witness we the said Daniel Dodge and Judith Dodge his wife have hereunto set our hand and seal this nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen.
