New Boston, New Hampshire
Photography by Larry Wert
Stone Descriptions under the photos are the hard work of Frances Ellingwood      This page contains first names A - D. Stone Descriptions under the photos run from left to right. As you will notice, there are many intermarriages between male Dodges and female Dodges.      Frances Ellingwood was born and raised in New Boston. She writes: "being a genealogy nut with Dodge blood, Susan M. Dodge was my grandmother, I got intrigued by the number of Dodge families that used to live in New Boston and their many intermarriages. I always said the town should have been named "Dodgeville!, and I started lining up as many of the families as I could and tacking them on to information from the Dodge Family Genealogy by Joseph T. Dodge." The information Frances sent us is in italics.       We have now received from Frances, several sheets with many descriptions of the tombstones of New Boston. Gradually, they will be added to the other pages of cemetery tombstones for this town.      Frances said that Larry Wert, the photographer, also did research on the Ellingswood Family and furnished them with a lot of information. Below is the plaque at the entrance to this cemetery. "Erected to the memory of William Dodge and Pamelia A. Spofford Dodge, by their son and daughter..."
